Description

(Please note that this tour must be booked 2 months in advance or you must check the availability of entrance tickets to Machu Picchu for the desired date) Day 1: Welcome to Cusco and City Tour Your adventure begins in Cusco. Upon arrival, a representative will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. Take advantage of the morning to acclimatize to the altitude and enjoy the city. At 14:00, we will start the City Tour, visiting places like Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), Sacsayhuaman and its majestic stone walls, as well as the archaeological centers of Qenqo, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay. The tour will end at 18:30 and then you will be transferred to your hotel to rest. Day 2: Sacred Valley At 07:30 - 08:00, we begin the journey to the Sacred Valley. We will visit Pisac, known for its handicraft market and Inca terraces. Then, you will enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba, with the best of Peruvian and Andean gastronomy. In the afternoon, we will explore Ollantaytambo, famous for its stone terraces and the Temple of the Sun. After the visit, we will take the train to Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the night. Day 3: Machu Picchu After breakfast in Aguas Calientes, we will go up by bus to Machu Picchu. You will enjoy a two-hour guided tour to discover the secrets of this wonder of the world. Then, you will have lunch in Aguas Calientes before returning by train to Ollantaytambo. From there, we will take a shuttle to Cusco, where we will spend the night. Day 4: Humantay Lagoon Adventure At 04:00 - 05:00, you will be picked up to start the trip to Mollepata (3 hours). After breakfast, you will hike approximately 2 hours to the Humantay Lagoon, famous for its emerald color. Then, you will enjoy a buffet lunch in Mollepata and return to Cusco in the afternoon. Day 5: Maras and Moray We start the day by picking you up at your hotel to visit Maras, an agricultural village. Then, we will explore the terraces of Moray, used as an agricultural laboratory by the Incas. Afterwards, we will head to the salt mines of Maras, where you will have time to buy salt or souvenirs. We will return to Cusco to rest. Day 6: Rainbow Mountain At 04:00 - 05:00 am, you will be picked up to travel to Rainbow Mountain. After a 2 hour and 30 minute transfer, you will enjoy breakfast in Tintinco and then hike for 2 hours to the mountain, famous for its vibrant colors. After the hike, we will have lunch and return to Cusco in the afternoon. Day 7: Qeswachaka Bridge The day will begin with pick up between 04:00 - 05:00 am for a 3 hour drive to Quehue. You will visit the Qeswachaka Bridge, made of straw and used since Inca times. After the experience, you will enjoy lunch in Cusipata and return to Cusco in the afternoon. Day 8: Farewell and Unforgettable Memories On your last day, a shuttle will take you to the airport or bus terminal.
