Description

Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel in Arequipa. Head to the Valle de Chilina, where your quad bike ride begins. Ride through the lush vegetation and along the Chili River, taking in the stunning natural surroundings. As you reach the top of the park, discover a sacred Huaca (temple) that belonged to the Churajón culture. This spot offers panoramic views of the Chilina Valley and the Chili River, perfect for capturing breathtaking photos. After your quad bike adventure, return to the city center for lunch (not included). In the afternoon, explore the main attractions of Arequipa. Visit the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, and the Church of the Company of Jesus, where you’ll learn about its history and construction. Continue to the Cloisters of the Company of Jesus, located in the historic center, with its beautifully carved sillar arches and corridors. Visit the Tristán del Pozo House, a prime example of Arequipa’s typical ornamentation. Next, head to the Plaza and Church of San Francisco, one of the city’s most beautiful buildings. Then, explore the San Lázaro neighborhood, the most representative area of Arequipa. Finally, visit the Monastery of Santa Catalina de Siena, a citadel built of clay and sillar with magnificent fresco paintings. Walk through its narrow streets, squares, and cloisters with massive sillar walls and rustic stone washbasins.
