Description

This thrilling ascent offers both the challenge of reaching the top and the mystique that surrounds this geological wonder. The Misti Volcano Adventure is an unforgettable journey for thrill-seekers and nature enthusiasts. ---------- ****Itinerary: FIRST DAY: Pick up the passengers, in a 4×4 vehicle, travel in the direction of Chiguata, to the Pampas del Misti. The car trip lasts an hour and a half to 3,400 meters, where we will begin the tour. The ascent will take approximately five hours to the base camp, which is located at 4,665 meters. Along the way you can see the flora and fauna of the place such as cacti and different birds. When we arrive at the camp we will prepare our tents and eat. This day ends with a beautiful sunset. SECOND DAY: After breakfast at 3 a.m. we will begin the ascent towards the summit slowly for approximately six hours to the summit at 5,825 meters. From here you can see the Chachani volcanoes, Pichu Pichu, the Aguada Blanca National Reserve and a beautiful panoramic view of the city of Arequipa. After observing the landscape, resting and taking photos, we will begin the return to the base camp, the return being fun and easy. After a snack and a little rest, we will descend for two more hours to 3,400 meters. Here the car is waiting for us that will take us back to the city of Arequipa and its hotels. Arrival will be approximately 4:00 p.m.

  • To bring with you : - 4 liters of water minimum per person - Waterproof jacket or poncho (December – April) ----------- At least 02 passengers are required for departure. If you're traveling alone, please inquire about the possibility of joining an existing group or private tour.
