Description

6:00 am to 6:30 am - We pick up from hotels located in the center of Arequipa. Our first stop will be in the town of Pampa de Arrieros, where the entrance to the white city used to be for people arriving on the train. Then we will head towards Patahuasi to have the traditional Coca Tea, which is essential to avoid altitude sickness. (breakfast) Then we will go to the Puruña Stone Forest, where we will begin the walk of approximately 40 minutes; there we will be able to appreciate the Stone Forest, a natural place with strange rock formations and stone columns. In approximately one hour we will arrive at the Pillones Waterfall, a magnificent place of connection with nature. We will begin the descent to reach the waterfall in approximately 20 minutes; when we arrive at the place we will observe the incredible waterfalls of this impressive waterfall; in the place you will have time to take photos and enjoy this incredible landscape that surrounds it. We will also be able to observe molded rocks produced by water erosion. Lunch (Patahuasi). Finally, after having enjoyed this wonderful landscape we will begin the return to the city. 05.30 pm - We will arrive to the city of Arequipa, and we will leave you near the Plaza de Armas.
