Description

Begin your day with a pickup from your hotel in Arequipa and head to the Chilina Valley. Stop to admire stunning views of the volcanoes, the Chili River, and pre-Inca terraces. Arrive at the climbing site and listen to a safety briefing. Spend 3 hours climbing, with routes ranging from easy to challenging, suitable for all skill levels. Enjoy the natural surroundings and the thrill of climbing. After the climb, return to Arequipa. Take a break for lunch on your own before meeting your guide for the afternoon walking tour. Start by exploring the Plaza de Armas, with its traditional arches and portals. Visit the Cloisters of the Compañía, a beautiful architectural site. Walk across the Bolognesi Bridge for views of the Misti volcano and the Chili River. Continue to Mundo Alpaca, where you can see llamas, alpacas, suris, and vicuñas. Optionally, purchase textiles made from their fibers. Finally, visit the San Lázaro neighborhood, the first settlement of the White City. End the tour near the Santa Catalina Monastery or the Juanita Mummy Museum.
