Description

Cabtours designed this tour as an innovative proposal that unites Andean culture, ancestral astronomy, and exceptional natural landscapes. It's ideal for travelers looking for something beyond traditional tourism: connection with communities, authentic rituals, and inspiring starry skies. DAY 1 CUSCO We kick off this adventure by picking up each traveler at their accommodation in Cusco. The journey will take us to the province of Quispicanchi, crossing Andean valleys and mountains. During the trip, you'll enjoy breathtaking natural views as we head to our first stop: Andamayo. ANDAMAYO In this high Andean community, we'll have an authentic experience of experiential tourism. The villagers will show us their daily life: milking cows, making artisanal cheese, raising guinea pigs, and other farm tasks. We'll share a traditional breakfast prepared with local products. SINGRENACOCHA LAGOON We'll be welcomed with music and dances typical of the area. Here, we'll learn about the agricultural work of the community members, participating in their daily activities. This direct interaction lets you appreciate their way of life and generate an authentic and meaningful cultural exchange. On the shores of this beautiful turquoise lagoon, located at the foot of the snowy Ausangate, we'll perform an Andean ritual of thanksgiving to the Mamacocha. PACCHANTA HOT SPRINGS After lunch, we'll head to the village of Pacchanta, where we'll stay in comfortable and cozy rural houses. Here, you'll have the option to relax in the natural hot springs. AUSANGATE SNOW-CAPPED MOUNTAIN After dinner, one of the most special moments arrives: stargazing in one of the clearest skies in the Andes. With expert guidance, you'll learn about the dark constellations according to the Quechua worldview, such as the fox, the llama, or the snake, projected onto the Milky Way. DAY 2 PACCHANTA We'll kick off the day with a nutritious Andean breakfast to get ready for the hike. We'll also visit the interpretation center, where you'll learn about alpaca charqui (dried meat) and karmu, a traditional food you'll take with you as a snack for the day. 7 AUSANGATE LAGOONS We'll take a hike of about 4 hours through one of the most impressive natural circuits in the region: the 7 lagoons of Ausangate. PACCHANTA After the trek, we'll head back to Pacchanta to enjoy a well-deserved lunch. This will be the time to rest, share impressions with the group, and wrap up this cultural, natural, and spiritual immersion experience. CUSCO We'll wrap up the tour by heading back to Cusco in our private transport. We'll arrive at approximately 6:00 p.m., with our hearts full of new knowledge, memories, and landscapes that will stay with you forever.
