Description

Begin your adventure with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Cusco, followed by a scenic drive to the Chequerec community — a quiet, picturesque area surrounded by mountains and farmlands. Upon arrival, your instructor will provide a clear safety briefing and guide you through a short practice session to help you feel confident on the ATVs. No prior experience is necessary, as the team will support you at every step. Set off on an exciting off-road ride toward the stunning Huaypo Lagoon, a serene Andean lake ideal for photos, short walks, and taking in the fresh mountain air. After exploring the lagoon, continue your journey to the Inca site of Cheqoq, an ancient agricultural center with terraces, water channels, and panoramic views of the Sacred Valley. Return to the base in Chequerec and continue by tourist van to the breathtaking Maras Salt Mines. From the main viewpoint, admire over 3,000 salt pools cascading down the mountainside and learn about the traditional salt-harvesting techniques still used today.
