Your full-day adventure begins with a 4:30 am hotel pick-up in Cusco, heading towards the high Andean community of Pacchanta, located at 4,100 m (13,451 ft) at the foot of the majestic Ausangate Mountain. During the drive, enjoy the spectacular Andean landscapes, valleys, and traditional villages along the route. Upon arrival, you will have a buffet breakfast prepared by local families, providing the perfect energy for the day ahead. After breakfast, your guide will brief you on safety and the hiking route for this amazing hike to the 7 Lagoons of Ausangate. The trek begins from Pacchanta and gradually ascends through highland trails surrounded by alpacas, llamas, glaciers, and breathtaking mountain scenery, with the Ausangate Mountain towering above. This hike allows travelers from different countries to share the experience together in a friendly group setting. During the trek, you will visit the famous 7 Lagoons of Ausangate, including Otorongo, Alqacocha, Q’omercocha, Orqo Otorongo, Azulcocha, Pucacocha, and Patacocha, each with unique colors and surrounded by pristine Andean landscapes.
