Description

Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel in Cusco. Head south towards the picturesque village of Cusipata. Upon arrival, enjoy a delicious traditional Andean breakfast at a local restaurant. Continue by tourist transport for about 1 hour until you reach the Ausangate community, the starting point of your exciting ATV adventure. Before you begin, receive a safety briefing and basic driving instruction. For 15 minutes, practice and get comfortable with the ATV under the guidance of your expert guide. Begin your ride, driving for about 40 minutes through breathtaking landscapes: the vibrant Red Valley, panoramic views of the snow-capped Ausangate Mountain, and sightings of llamas and alpacas along the way. The ride ends at the Ausangate viewpoint, one of the most stunning lookout points in Cusco. At the viewpoint, located at over 6,000 m.a.s.l., your guide will share the cultural, spiritual, and geological significance of this sacred Andean peak. Then, have free time to explore, capture photos, and take in the awe-inspiring beauty of Ausangate and the surrounding colorful mountains. Begin your descent, riding ATVs for about 30 to 40 minutes back to the Ausangate community. Back on your transport, drive for about 2 hours to Cusipata. Here, enjoy a hearty Andean buffet lunch, with vegetarian options available. After lunch, head back to Cusco, arriving around 5:40 PM. Drop-off will be at Plaza Regocijo, just a short walk from the main square.
