Continue to Qenqo, an archaeological complex primarily used for ceremonial and astronomical purposes. Visit Puca Pucara, a military fortress with multiple rooms, squares, baths, aqueducts, walls, and turrets.
Next, visit Tambomachay, an archaeological site with stone-carved water channels, possibly dedicated to the worship of water. Return to the historic center of Cusco to conclude the city tour.
Afterward, embark on a street food tour. Start on Calle Maruri with delicious anticuchos accompanied by potatoes and ají huacatay. Continue along Avenida El Sol and try the classic choclo with cheese, perfect for snacking while you walk.
On Calle San Andrés, enjoy a good pollo a la brasa with homemade ají. Sweeten your route on Avenida Pera with picarones drizzled with chancaca honey. Finish on Calle Matara with a hot emoliente flavored with muña or eucalyptus.
