Description

We started our trip super early, at 3:00 a.m., leaving Cusco for the remote village of Phinaya, crossing the stunning landscapes of the Andean highlands. After enjoying a delicious Andean breakfast, we head to the majestic Quelccaya Glacier, the world's largest tropical glacier. A short hike gives us spectacular views: crystal-clear lagoons, streams, free-roaming vicuñas, and the stunning mountains of the Vilcanota mountain range. Before heading back to Cusco, we'll dig into a typical local lunch and make a special stop at the magical Sibinacocha Lagoon, one of the most beautiful in the highlands.
