Description
Discover Cusco from an ancestral perspective on a horseback riding adventure guided by a local Andean. This unique tour connects you with the living history of the Andes, visiting sacred temples, natural viewpoints, and rural landscapes that few agencies offer.
We begin in the traditional neighborhood of Tambillo, across from La Gringa Hotel, where you'll receive a personalized introduction to horse riding, safety, and communication with your guide. From there, we'll begin a cultural and spiritual tour of little-known but deeply significant archaeological sites:
Inkilltambo: An Inca agricultural garden with advanced technology, where jungle products were grown in a sacred valley.
Huayraqpunko: A natural viewpoint with panoramic views of Cusco and vestiges of ceremonies dedicated to the Pachamama.
Chuspiyoq (Water Temple): A space dedicated to the worship of Yaku Mama, with Inca tombs of nobility and a stone carved with the face of the Inca.
Temple of the Moon and the Sun: A spiritual fertility center dedicated to Mama Killa and Tayta Inti, where rituals of connection with nature were celebrated.
Kusilluchayoq (Temple of the Monkeys): An energetic and rarely visited site that marks the end of the tour.
During the ride, you can enjoy flat stretches of trail to trot or gallop depending on your experience level, always accompanied by trained horses and a bilingual (Spanish/English) guide. At the end, we will take you back to the city in a private vehicle, either to the Plaza de Armas or to a location of your choice.
This tour is ideal for travelers seeking authenticity, nature, spirituality, and living culture. This is not a traditional experience: it is a deep immersion in the Inca legacy, guided by someone who lives and breathes the history of their land.
