Description

Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel in Cusco. Travel for 2 hours to Mollepata, where you’ll enjoy breakfast and have the chance to buy water and snacks for the hike. After breakfast, continue for another hour to Soraypampa. Upon arrival, take in the stunning views of the Apu Salkantay (6,230 meters) and Humantay (5,250 meters) mountains. The tour reaches an altitude of 4,200 meters. Prepare your backpack and begin the 2-hour hike to Humantay Lake. The ascent is steep, but your small group and guide will allow you to enjoy the hike at a comfortable pace. Once you reach the lake, take in the breathtaking views and opt for a small climb on either side of the lake for a panoramic view. Next, enjoy the easy part of the hike as you descend back to Soraypampa for another hour. Then, take your private transport back to Mollepata, where a local lunch awaits you. After lunch, return to Cusco, arriving between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Finally, head to the Plaza de Armas and walk to the renowned bar 'República del Pisco' for a class on how to prepare the traditional Pisco Sour, a traditional Peruvian drink.
