Description
Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Cusco and a transfer to the bus terminal. At 10:00 PM, you'll board a night tour bus to Puno, arriving at approximately 5:30 AM the next day.
After a short break, at 7:00 a.m. we'll start our journey across majestic Lake Titicaca to the floating islands of the Uros (25-minute boat ride). There, the guide will share information about the history, culture, and way of life of this community that lives on islands built with totora. You'll have free time to explore, buy handicrafts, or take an optional ride on a traditional boat.
Then, we'll head to Taquile Island, a journey of about 2 hours and 30 minutes with spectacular views of the lake. Upon arrival, we'll enjoy a typical lunch at a local family's home. Later, we'll walk about 30 minutes to the main square and the craft market, where you can admire Taquile's textile culture and enjoy impressive panoramic views.
We'll head back to the port to return to Puno, with an estimated arrival time of 3:30 p.m.
