Description

Go on a 2-day guided trek from Cusco to reach the summit of Rainbow Mountain. Enjoy a hotel transfer and all meals included, and spend the night camping out in the wilderness by the light of a warm campfire. Day 1 Start with a pickup from your Cusco hotel and travel to the town of Cusipata for a breakfast stop. Begin your walk through small towns and admire the fauna and flora of the region. Arrive at the slopes of the snowy Ausangate for lunch. Continue your upward walk towards the Circular Lagoon. Explore the road and its surroundings spotting local shepherds, extensive pampas, and hundreds of alpacas. Finally, arrive at the Circular Lagoon to appreciate the sunset surrounded by a beautiful waterfall. At the end of the day, enjoy dinner and a campfire. Day 2 Start with a delicious breakfast and admire incredible views of the mountains. Begin the ascent to the Mountain of Seven Colors, located at an altitude of 5,200 meters above sea level. Enjoy a tour and some time for photos. Visit the famous Red Valley then descend along the same path to Chillca to return to your first stop for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a return transfer to Cusco.
