Begin your adventure with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Cusco. Travel to Cusipata, where you'll enjoy a hearty breakfast before continuing to Phullawasipata, the starting point of your trek.
Begin your hike, taking in the breathtaking views of the Andes. Spot locals, groups of alpacas, llamas, and sometimes wild vicuñas, as well as small lagoons created by glacial melt.
Reach the summit of Vinicunca, also known as Rainbow Mountain, at 5,020 meters. Take in the stunning views and snap photos of the colorful landscape. Next, visit the Red Valley viewpoint, named for the red soil of the mountain. Enjoy the peace and tranquility of this unique place.
