Description

Day 1: Sacred Valley Full Day VIP Depart from Cusco early in the morning, between 6:20 and 6:50 AM, to explore the breathtaking Sacred Valley. Enjoy the crisp morning air as clouds float above the terraces while your guide shares fascinating insights into the region’s history and culture. Capture photos and take in the stunning landscapes along the way. Your first stop is Chinchero at 3,762 meters (12,346 ft), where you will visit the Textile Interpretation Center. Watch skilled artisans weaving alpaca wool and try your hand at traditional spinning techniques. Stroll through the village and visit the colonial church to admire local architecture and customs. Next, head to Moray (3,500 meters / 11,482 ft) to explore the circular terraces, where the Incas experimented with crops and microclimates. Feel the temperature change at different terrace levels and learn about ancient agricultural engineering. In the afternoon, visit Maras, Urubamba, Ollantaytambo, and Pisaq. Explore the famous salt ponds of Maras and discover how salt is traditionally harvested. Enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba. At Ollantaytambo and Pisaq, admire archaeological sites and panoramic views before returning to Cusco around 6:30 PM with unforgettable memories. Day 2: Ausangate ATV Adventure Start your day at 4:00 AM with a scenic drive from Cusco to Hanchipacha. Witness the sunrise illuminating towering peaks and valleys, and enjoy the crisp Andean air. Your guide will brief you on the route and safety instructions. At Hanchipacha, enjoy a traditional Andean breakfast buffet with quinoa, bread, fruits, and hot drinks. Meet local residents and hear stories about life in the Ausangate region, connecting deeply with local culture. After a 15-minute safety briefing and ATV practice session, embark on a 2-hour ATV adventure toward Ausangate. Navigate high trails, deep valleys, and Andean plains while spotting llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas along the way. Begin a 40–50 minute hike along the trail, surrounded by rocks, grasslands, and turquoise lakes. Reach the Ausangate viewpoint, where glaciers and colorful high-altitude lakes offer spectacular photo opportunities. Enjoy lunch at 2:00 PM before returning to Cusco by 5:00 PM.
