Description

The adventure begins with the pick up from your hotel at 4:00 am, drive 3.5 hours with amazing landscape along the way to Upis community (4,400 m/14,435 ft) to have breakfast provide by local people in our private camp. After breakfast we start our hike of (2.5 km/3,10 Mi), Our Hike toward the majestic Upisqocha is 1 hour of gentle trail, following a scenic route surrounded by snow-capped peaks, wide Andean plains, and herds of alpacas, enjoy the landscape, breathe fresh mountain air, and connect with the powerful energy of the magestic Ausangate Mountain. Finally you reach the lake where your guide will explain the deep spiritual importance of these waters and mountains for the local communities. You will learn how these places are considered sacred Apus (mountain protectors) and how the lakes are revered by the Andean people. After take your pictures and walk around the lake, we return for 1 hour to our camp where you will enjoy a delicious hot lunch . After lunch, you will relax in our natural hot springs, located inside our private camp an exclusive spot where you can unwind with incredible views of the Ausangate glacier. Finally, we board our private transportation to return to Cusco, arriving in the afternoon between 5:00 to 6:00 pm
