Description

We will start our tour by picking you up from your hotel (near or inside the historical centre) at 6:00 a.m. and we will start our journey towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas for about 1 hour and a half until we reach the city of Ollantaytambo. On the way we will make a short stop to use the toilets. We will continue our journey until we reach the village of Socma which is only 25 minutes away and we will start our hike to the archaeological centre of Racaypata (3550 m.a.s.l.) during the journey we will observe the daily life of the local people. We will have an explanation from our guide about the function of this archaeological centre, as its construction is based on mud stone. After the visit we will begin the descent through Andean landscapes to the spectacular waterfall of Perolniyoc, this waterfall is characteristic since it has a drop of approximately 100 meters, in this place we will enjoy nature in its natural state, breathing pure and fresh air. If you wish, you can dive into its crystalline waters enjoying the beautiful views and the landscape, you can also observe typical birds of the Sacred Valley. After our excursion we will return to the city of Urubamba where we will enjoy a delicious lunch and return to the city of Cusco. End of our services.
