Description

Our adventure begins in the city of Arequipa. Day 1: We will pick you up from your accommodation in a tourist vehicle between 3:00 and 3:30 a.m. to begin this unforgettable adventure. During the trip, we will stop in the town of Chivay for breakfast. Then we will continue and stop at the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint for 40 minutes to enjoy the flight of the condor. We will arrive in San Miguel at 9:00 a.m., the starting point of the hike. From here, we will begin our descent, walking for approximately 4 hours until we reach the village of San Juan de Chucho, where we will have lunch. We will have the afternoon to walk around the village, have dinner in the evening, and then spend the night at our accommodation. Day 2: Breakfast will be at 8:00 a.m. at our hotel in San Juan de Chuccho. After breakfast, we will get ready to continue our hike to the Sangalle Oasis, which is a 3-hour walk with ups and downs. We will arrive at the Sangalle Oasis at approximately 1:00 p.m. and check into a hotel with a swimming pool, where we will have lunch. After lunch, we will have a relaxing afternoon at the hotel pool. At 7:00 p.m., we will have dinner and then spend our second night. Day 3: At 5:00 a.m., we will begin our three-hour ascent to Cabanaconde, where we will have breakfast. We will then board our transportation back to the city of Arequipa. Along the way, we will stop at the main attractions, such as the Antahuique viewpoint to enjoy the view of the Colca Valley. The Chacapi hot springs, where we will enjoy the therapeutic waters that will help us relax our thighs after our hike. We will also stop in Chivay for our last lunch. We will also stop at the Mirador de los Volcanes to enjoy the view of the volcanic chain in southern Peru and finally we will stop at the salt flats and Aguada Blanca reserve to observe South American camelids such as llamas, alpacas, vicuñas, and others. We will then arrive in the city of Arequipa, and our tour will end at 5:30 p.m., two blocks from Arequipa's main square.
