Description

Note: No departures on Mondays due to the maintenance of the complex. Between 9:00 - 9:30 AM, you will picked up at your hotel and transfer you to the town of Nuevo Tingo. From there, we will take a cable car ride to the fortified citadel of Kuelap, the most significant archaeological site for the Chachapoya people. Built since the 6th century AD and discovered in 1843, Kuelap impresses with its stone walls reaching up to 20 meters in height, protecting over 500 circular houses, many adorned with zigzag and rhomboidal friezes. After a guided tour, enjoy lunch in Nuevo Tingo before returning to Chachapoyas. At around 05:30 PM, we will be back in Chachapoyas. End of services.
