Day 1: Start with pickup from your hotel in Cusco at 6:30 AM and be transferred to the bus station. Begin the journey towards Puno, a city located on the shores of Lake Titicaca in southeastern Peru. During the journey, stop at various locations of historical significance such as the Temple of Andahuaylillas and the Temple of Wiracocha at the Raqch'i archeological site. Cross the Raya Mountain range and stop at the Pucará Lithic Museum, which contains various pre-Inca stone carvings.  Arrive in Puno at approximately 5:00 PM in the afternoon. Be transferred to your accommodation where you will receive a short briefing on the Lake Titicaca excursion. Then, feel free to explore Puno and its quiet streets. Day 2: Be picked up from your accommodation in Puno on the second day between 6:45 AM and 7:15 AM. Be dropped off at the port in Puno and board a speedboat for your tour on Lake Titicaca. Visit the Uros Islands, where you will learn more about the life of the local people who live on the lake. See how their houses are constructed on floating islands, and browse through a range of crafts made by the locals. Next, travel to the island of Taquile. Discover its charming main square with its colonial chapel. Enjoy a typical local lunch here before returning to Puno. Arrive back at your hotel to collect your belongings, and enjoy some free time for dinner in the city. Be transferred to the bus station at 9:00 PM and depart for Cusco at 10:00 PM. Travel overnight in a comfortable bus with reclining bed seats. Arrive back in Cusco at 5:00 AM the next morning and have a taxi take you back to your hotel.
