Amazon Rainforest Tour from Cusco – 4 Days / 3 Nights We have highly experienced professional tour guides with in-depth knowledge of the area and the rainforest. Arrival at our eco-lodge, where we will stay during our visit. In the afternoon, we will take an introductory walk in the jungle to learn about medicinal plants and possibly see monkeys, birds, insects, ancient trees, and learn about the economic activities of the region. Night activity:Caiman excursion. Possibility of seeing capybaras, majás, picuros, armadillos, among other nocturnal animals. A beautiful 3 km lake surrounded by extraordinary biodiversity: Howler monkeys, turtles, black caimans, giant otters (endangered species) Wide variety of birds: herons, kingfishers, toucans, and hoatzins (prehistoric birds) Ecosystems with aguajales, orchids, and timber trees such as lupuna Night walk in the jungle: Observation of insects (crickets, grasshoppers), frogs, tarantulas, reptiles such as snakes, and the famous tree lizard Plica plica.
