Description

Itinerary – Cusco City Tour We begin our tour with a meeting point in Cusco's Plaza de Armas, available in two shifts: Morning shift: 8:40 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. (ending at approximately 2:30 p.m.) Afternoon shift: 12:40 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. (ending at approximately 6:30 p.m.) (Important: On Sundays, hours may vary, as some tourist sites open later.) From the Plaza de Armas, we will take a short walk of approximately three blocks to reach the Temple of the Sun – Qoricancha, where we will begin our tour with a guided tour. We will continue to the archaeological site of Sacsayhuamán, a majestic example of Inca military architecture, renowned for its imposing, perfectly assembled stone walls. The next stop will be Qenqo, an ancient ceremonial center built on a natural rock formation and used for religious rituals. We will then visit Puca Pucara, a military fortress that was part of Cusco's defensive system, composed of walls, terraces, and stairways. We will end at Tambomachay, an archaeological site dedicated to the worship of water and purification, famous for its canals and fountains. Our tour concludes with the return to Cusco, ending near the Plaza de Armas.
