Description

Our adventure begins the time you prefer, when we will pick you up from your hotel and drive for 3 hours to the southern valley. We will pass through picturesque Andean towns, fertile valleys, and rolling mountains along the way. In Cusipata, we will enjoy a delicious breakfast to fuel us for the hike ahead. We will start by heading along the pleasant path in the middle of the Andean mountains. As you ascend, you will be rewarded with an impressive view of snow mountains, Of course, the hike has some short breaks, our guides speak Quechua so they will teach you words in our native language. After a 1.5-hour hike, we will arrive at the stunning Rainbow Mountain (5,030 m/16,502 ft). Take your time to appreciate the breathtaking beauty of this natural wonder. You will have about an hour to explore the spectacular views of the surrounding valleys and mountains (optional 30 minutes hike to red valley ) We will retrace our steps back to the starting point. The downhill will take about 1.5 hour, and our car will be waiting for us there. We will then drive for 1 hour to Cusipata. The tour concludes with a buffet lunch in Cusipata and a 2-hours drive back to Cusco. We will drop you off at your hotel.
