Description

The fullday tour to Pallay Poncho begins from your hotel in Cusco. Our specialized adventure and trekking guide will pick you up at 4:00 a.m. We will head south of Cusco on a 3.5hour journey to the province of Sicuani, where we will enjoy breakfast. Then, we will continue for another hour to the district of Layo, where we will leave the vehicle and start our hike to Pallay Poncho de Apu Tacllo, a distance of 5 kilometers that will take approximately 1.5 hours. We will reach an altitude of 4,790 meters above sea level, from where we will enjoy the stunning views of Pallay Poncho de Apu Tacllo. After exploring this beautiful place, we will slowly return to the bus, take the last photos, and head to Sicuani to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch. After lunch, we will return to Cusco, concluding this adventure in the city of Cusco with unique memories of this experience in the Peruvian Andes. RECOMMENDATIONS We recommend dressing in warm clothing that can handle sudden weather changes. Remember to apply sunscreen, preferably SPF 90+, and bring sunglasses and a hat to protect yourself from the intense sun at high altitudes. During the rainy season, a waterproof poncho will be useful. Ensure you wear comfortable walking shoes and carry enough water to stay hydrated during the hike.
