Description

This tour is another option for the Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain by Cusipata short route, since the walk is 1 hour and 30 minutes uphill. It is located at an altitude of 5,200 meters above sea level. It is a complete adventure which on the way you can observe the flora and fauna; on this route you can also go up on horseback there and back. Rainbow Mountain by ATV, to do this tour we will go to the town of Cusipata, district of Pitumarca and province of Canchis. It is located at 3,570 meters above sea level for this activity no experience is needed, the ATVs are automatic. The guide will give you driving instructions, this adventure will allow us to appreciate the wonderful views of the Ausangate snow-capped mountain (6,385 meters above sea level) and be in contact with nature. Enjoy this magnificent experience at the Rainbow Mountain in Cusco, Peru. Itinerary: Pick up at 4:30 am Then we head south on the Pan-American highway for an hour and a half until we reach the district of Cusipata where we have breakfast and then continue our tour for another hour and a half passing through Checacupe, Pitumarca, Hanchipacha and then we arrive at Kayrahuiri around 9:00 am where we leave the car and continue our route on ATVs previously we do a practice for about 20 minutes. Later we continue our route on ATVs to the same rainbow mountain for a time of approximately 30 minutes driving slowly (speeding is prohibited) the ascent, and around 10:00 am we arrive at our destination, the rainbow mountain, where we will have a time of 40 minutes to do the reconnaissance of the place. Then we go down again on ATVs for 30 more minutes to the car parking lot and then board and get off the car. Then we continue our return for an hour and a half to the Cusipata district to our restaurant at approximately 2:00 pm where we will have our buffet lunch, and then return to Cusco for another hour and a half. Our last stop is at the Regocijo square in the historic center of Cusco, where we will say goodbye. It is also important that we leave one hour earlier and one hour later, please check the pick-up time beforehand at the time of booking.
