Description

The meeting point is at Plaza Regocijo at 8:00 a.m. After a trip of about 3 hours, you'll arrive at the starting point of the hike, located 4,850 meters above sea level. From there, you'll start a roughly 1-hour, 2-kilometer hike along trails that combine flat stretches and moderate climbs until you reach Rainbow Mountain. During the tour, you'll enjoy spectacular views and observe high Andean fauna in their natural environment. When you reach the top, at 5,010 meters, you'll have free time to rest, take pictures, and appreciate the Rainbow Mountain, weather permitting. Finally, you'll descend for about 50 minutes to the starting point, where you'll take the transport back to Cusipata to enjoy a local buffet lunch. After lunch, you'll head back to Cusco, arriving at the Plaza de Armas in the city center between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
