Description
Start your day with a hotel pickup in Cusco and head to Pacchanta. On the way, listen to your guide share stories about Ausangate, revered as a protective Apu and a source of fertility in Andean tradition.
Before the hike begins, enjoy a traditional Andean breakfast prepared by local families. Then, take part in an opening ceremony with an Andean shaman. A local spiritual guide performs a small offering to Pachamama to ask for protection during the hike and energy for the day.
Begin your hike to the 7 Lagoons. During the hike (approx. 5 hours), discover Laguna Azulcocha (deep turquoise waters), Otorongo Macho & Hembra Lagoons (twin lagoons with strong symbolism), Laguna Pucacocha (reddish tones due to minerals), and Alqacocha, Q’omercocha & Patacocha Lagoons (with green and emerald reflections).
Each stop becomes a space to reflect on the Andean connection between nature and spirituality. Return to Pacchanta and enjoy a traditional meal prepared with local products.
After lunch, choose to immerse yourself in Pacchanta’s hot springs, with breathtaking views of Ausangate. End your day with a short guided meditation to reflect on the day’s learnings: gratitude to Pachamama and respect for the Apus.
