Note: Please make sure it's not Monday the day you're booking it for as the complex is closed on Mondays.
Between 8:30 AM and 9:00 AM, you'll depart from Huaraz heading towards Chavín. Your first stop will be at Qerococha Lagoon, situated at 13,058 feet above sea level, where you can marvel at the Geological Fault of the Peruvian map. Next, you'll pass through the Cahuish Tunnel, located at an altitude of 14,599 feet.
Continuing the itinerary, you'll arrive at the Chavín de Huántar Archaeological Complex. Here, you'll explore ceremonial squares, the Falconids' Gate, underground galleries, the Monolithic Lanzón, the Stone Heads, and more.
After witnessing the marvels of the archaeological site, you'll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in the town of Chavín. Finally, following lunch, you'll return to the city of Huaraz, concluding your journey.
