Itinerary Day 1: Pacaya Samiria We will start the day by picking you up at your hotel in Iquitos. Drive to Nauta: We will head to the charming town of Nauta, the gateway to the Amazon rainforest. You will be welcomed at the picturesque dock, ready to begin our expedition. We will embark on an exciting journey along the mighty Marañón River, where we will witness the majesty of the birth of the Amazon River at the point where it merges with the Ucayali River, known as Ucamara. Dolphin Encounter: We will marvel at the beauty of gray and pink dolphins as we navigate the waters of the Amazon. Dive into the refreshing waters of the Yarapa River, also known as the black water river, and feel the unique energy of the Amazon rainforest. Typical Lunch on Board: We will enjoy a delicious typical lunch prepared with fresh regional ingredients while cruising through the stunning Amazon landscapes. We will witness wildlife in its natural habitat, observing playful monkeys and exotic birds among the lush vegetation. Piranha Fishing: Test your skills by fishing for piranhas and other native species of the Amazon! Admire the grandeur of nature as you take in the majestic giant trees that dominate the Amazon landscape. Return and End of Excursion: With hearts full of memories and unforgettable experiences, we will return to the dock and take you back to your hotel.
