Description

We'll leave Lima at night to make the most of the day. After a quick stop in Sayán, we'll head to Viroc, where you can snap photos of its iconic arch and pick up some supplies. From Quinchas, we'll start trekking up to 4,900 m above sea level, a demanding but rewarding climb surrounded by mountains and unforgettable Andean landscapes. On the way, you'll see the Suerococha Lagoon, where we make a small payment to the Pachamama, and the Azulcocha Lagoon (or 'Seven Colors Lagoon'), famous for its changing colors. The highlight is Nevado Raura: you can touch the snow and enjoy panoramic views of the Andes. Then, we'll head to Churín for a typical lunch (not included) and a well-deserved rest in its thermal baths of Mamahuarmi, Tingo, or Baños de la Juventud, the ideal end to a day of nature, adventure, and wellness.
