Description

Itinerary We will meet at the chosen time at the entrance of Huaca Pucllana to begin our guided tour of this archaeological complex located in the heart of Lima. Huaca Pucllana represents the last period of the Lima culture. We will tour this monumental complex observing its adobe, pebble and sand constructions. We will learn about the past of the Peruvian capital while learning about this pre-Columbian culture that settled in this town between 400 and 700 AD. After the visit we will leave the site to walk through the Miraflores neighborhood, one of the most emblematic in Lima. In this bohemian neighborhood we will see the beautiful Parque del Amor, the favorite place for locals to walk accompanied by wonderful views of the coast. In this park we will see the statue of El Beso, a gigantic sculpture of two lovers merging in a romantic kiss. (optional) We will finish the tour in the park after approximately three hours.
