We'll start the tour by picking you up from your hotel in the city of Puno and then head to the Quechua area of the highlands.
LAMPA – PINK CITY
Our first stop will be Lampa, known as the Pink City. We'll stroll through its colonial streets and visit the Santiago Apóstol Church (1675), which has been declared a national monument. You'll get to see its catacombs and a replica of Michelangelo's La Pietà.
PUCARÁ
We'll continue to Pucará, the birthplace of one of the oldest cultures in the highlands. We'll visit the Lithic Museum, where important archaeological pieces of the Pucará culture are exhibited, also recognized for its traditional bulls. Here, we'll enjoy a box lunch.
TINAJANI CANYON
The tour culminates in the impressive Tinajani Canyon, a little-known natural gem. We'll take a light hike of about 3 km (30 to 45 minutes), visiting viewpoints and rock formations with reddish tones, including the iconic Roca del Vigilante.
