Description

This tour kicks off in Urubamba, in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, from where you'll set off on a fascinating cultural and scenic adventure. Our first stop will be Moray, a unique archaeological complex made up of circular platforms that the Incas used as an agricultural laboratory to experiment with different microclimates. We'll continue to the impressive Salt Flats of Maras, a set of more than 3,000 salt pools dating back to pre-Inca times, where local families still extract salt by hand, creating a bright white landscape that contrasts with the valley's mountains. Then we'll visit Chinchero, a picturesque Andean town known for its cobbled streets, colonial church, and colorful textile workshops, where the locals keep the ancestral traditions of weaving with natural wool and vegetable dyes alive.
