Description

During the half-day tour to Maras and Moray, clients will immerse themselves in two emblematic sites of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Starting in Maras, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the famous Salineras de Maras, also known as the Maras Salt Flats. These salt flats are an impressive network of thousands of salt evaporation pools that date back to Inca times. Customers will be able to walk among the white terraces and learn about the traditional salt extraction process that has been passed down from generation to generation. Continuing the tour, we will head to Moray, where travelers will be welcomed by the spectacular Agricultural Terraces of Moray. These circular terraces are a unique example of Inca agricultural engineering and are believed to have been used as an agricultural laboratory to experiment with different microclimates. Clients will have the opportunity to explore these terraces from different levels and marvel at the panoramic views of the Sacred Valley.   • The Cusco tourist ticket (BTC) is mandatory for all visitors and allows you to visit points of interest in the city of Cusco and its surroundings (not valid for Machu Picchu). You can buy the ticket there on the day of the activity. This ticket will allow you to access the Chinchero site and Moray. Entrance to the Maras Salt Mines must be purchased separately (not part of the BTC)
