Description

Your unforgettable day begins with an early pickup from your hotel in Cusco, followed by a scenic 3.5-hour drive in a comfortable private van to the remote Andean village of Pacchanta (4,200 m / 13,779 ft). Upon arrival, you'll enjoy a warm, hearty breakfast before setting off on a breathtaking hike into the Vilcanota Mountain Range, home to the towering Ausangate Glacier. The trek takes about 3.5 hours uphill and includes stops at each of the Seven Glacial Lakes—including Otorongo Macho, Puca Cocha, and Azul Cocha—each offering striking colors and spectacular views of the surrounding snow-capped peaks. After exploring the lakes and capturing unforgettable photos, you'll return to Pacchanta, where the village’s natural hot springs await—perfect for relaxing tired muscles while taking in the serene mountain atmosphere. A freshly prepared local lunch will be served before beginning the journey back to Cusco. You'll be dropped off at your hotel in the evening, ending a truly memorable adventure through one of Peru’s most breathtaking and lesser-known landscapes.
