Description

We will pick you up in Cusco before taking a 20-minute minibus ride to the ranch, located in Huayllarcocha. Then, it will be time to begin our unforgettable horseback riding experience in the mountains of Cusco. We will greet our friendly traveling companions, the horses, and then climb onto their backs and ride through the stunning Peruvian countryside. We will admire these amazing landscapes as we head to the iconic Temple of the Moon, the first stop on this horseback tour. This sacred place was used to perform Inca ceremonies and offerings, especially during full moon nights. The guide will tell us some of the fascinating stories about the temple. We will continue the ride towards the Devil's Balcony, where we will find an ancient cave also considered sacred to the Incas. Here we will take the opportunity to listen to the stories that the guide will tell us about this mysterious place. There we will also encounter the Chacán hill, passing through picturesque Andean communities along the way. From the top of the mountain, you will enjoy stunning views of Cusco. Finally, we will replenish our energy with a delicious snack before returning on horseback to the ranch. There we will say goodbye to our new horse friends and drop you off near the main square 3.5 hours later.
