Explore the magic of Chavín de Huántar, an archaeological treasure in the Peruvian Andes! ITINERARY:
We'll set off from the city of Huaraz through the south of the Callejón de Huailas, passing through the villages of Recuay, Ticapampa, and Catac. We'll visit the Querococha Lagoon, where you can see the Geological Fault of the map of Peru. Then we'll pass through the Cahuish Tunnel, which is at 4550 meters above sea level, and descend through the Conchucos valley until we reach the village of Chavín.
The visit to the archaeological complex of Chavin de Huantar lasts about 2 hours, and then you'll also visit the National Museum of Chavin, where the most important remains found in the Temple are exhibited.
