This was the main place of worship to the Sun God (Inti). Our tour continues with a visit to four other archaeological sites on the outskirts of Cusco: the Sacsayhuaman Fortress, famous for its huge carved stone blocks and for the celebration of Inti Raymi (Festival of the Sun) on the winter solstice, the most popular festival known in Peru; then to Qenqo, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay, the famous Inca shower. Before ending the tour, we will take you to a special place to enjoy some free time with the famous Peruvian llamas and alpacas, as well as some shopping of local products before returning to Cusco.
