Description

Day 1 Begin your adventure with pickup from your hotel in Iquitos. Head to the Belén Market, a vibrant and lively place where you'll discover medicinal plants and exotic products from the region. Continue to the Port of Bellavista Nanay, famous for its local cuisine. Then, board a boat and sail along the Nanay River to its confluence with the majestic Amazon River, where you'll discover its mysteries and legends. Upon arrival at our lodge in the heart of the jungle, you'll enjoy an Amazonian lunch. In the afternoon, a guided botanical walk will connect you with nature as you learn about the medicinal plants of the Amazon. End the day with a traditional dinner, followed by an exciting night excursion to observe animals in their natural habitat. Rest in your room in the middle of the jungle. Day 2 We'll start the day with a unique experience: watching the sunrise in the jungle, accompanied by birdwatching in their natural environment. After this magical introduction to the new day, we'll return to the lodge for a traditional breakfast. We'll then hike in search of the various species of monkeys that inhabit the area, observing them roaming freely among the trees. Upon our return, a delicious Amazonian lunch will await us. In the afternoon, we'll sail in search of the enchanting Amazonian gray and pink river dolphins, and those who wish can take a refreshing swim in the majestic river. Later, we'll experience the thrill of piranha fishing—you might even catch your dinner! We'll end the day watching the Amazonian sunset from a privileged vantage point. Back at the lodge, we'll enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night surrounded by the sounds of the forest. Day 3 We'll start the day with a nutritious breakfast at our lodge, surrounded by the tranquility of the natural environment. We'll then head to an Amazonian riverside community, where you'll learn about their customs, traditions, and way of life firsthand. It will be an enriching opportunity to connect with the ancestral wisdom and hospitality of its inhabitants. Upon returning to the lodge, we will enjoy a final typical Amazonian lunch, the perfect conclusion to this experience. Afterward, we will begin the return journey to the city of Iquitos, sailing once again along the majestic Amazonian rivers until we reach the port of Bellavista Nanay. Our adventure concludes at the Canopy Tours offices, with the unforgettable memory of having explored one of the most fascinating regions on the planet.
