Description

Itinerary: ****Bella Vista Nanay Hotel pick-up and transfer to the tourist pier “Bella Vista Nanay.” We begin our journey towards our lodge. ****On board our comfortable and safe traditional boat, the trip along the Amazon River will allow you to appreciate a wonderful panorama where the river’s magnificence winds its way through the lush jungle. Observation of the confluences between the Nanay and Amazon rivers. ****Dolphin Watching (gray or pink dolphins) along the way. ****Visit to the Indigenous Community – KUKAMA TRIBE We will visit and dance with them, as they have been guardians of the region’s biodiversity, using their deep knowledge of plants and natural medicine to survive in this challenging environment. Additionally, their rich oral tradition has passed down stories and myths explaining their origins and their relationship with nature. ****MONKEY ISLAND – Neyser Continuing our navigation along the Amazon River, we will enter a creek to visit monkeys in their natural habitat. Upon arrival, we will be welcomed by different monkey species that live there, where we can learn about each one, feed them, play with them, and take photos… all in their natural environment! ****WILDLIFE RESCUE CENTER We will head to the Wildlife Rescue Center (“Fundo Rony”) to observe and interact with some of the wild animal species, such as sloths, monkeys, macaws, toucans, boa constrictors, and turtles. This will be an interesting way to learn to appreciate and respect the wildlife typical of our Amazon. Reminder: In this center, these animals are kept in cages because they are being cared for before being released back into the wild. ****AMAZONIAN TRAPICHE Enjoy a tasting of traditional macerated drinks such as camu camu, seven roots, and ginger. These provide a unique opportunity to experience their medicinal properties. These infusions are rich in health benefits, such as strengthening the immune system thanks to the vitamin C in camu camu, improving digestion, and promoting vitality with seven roots, while ginger helps relieve digestive discomfort and nausea. You’ll enjoy a double pleasure: the unique flavors of the Amazon and a boost to your well-being. ****Arrival at our Lodge for lunch: Typical jungle cuisine. (Please inform us in advance if you prefer a vegetarian option.) ****After lunch, take some time to relax, explore the camp’s surroundings, or unwind by the pool. At the appropriate time, we will take our boat back to Iquitos. ****At the end of the tour, we will return to the Nanay pier via the river. Upon arriving in Iquitos, our services will conclude.
