Description

Begin your adventure with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Iquitos. Then, travel 8 kilometers along the Iquitos-Nauta highway to reach the Quistococha National Park, known for its namesake lagoon. Upon arrival, immerse yourself in the lush Amazonian wilderness. Encounter a variety of local wildlife, including tapirs, ocelots, and primates. Watch as paiches, one of the largest freshwater fish species in the world, swim gracefully in the waters. At the end of the walk, arrive at the magnificent Quistococha Lagoon, which spans an impressive 56 square kilometers.
