Description

Get picked up from your meeting point in Iquitos and head to the unique White Sand National Park. On the way, admire the city’s nightlife and learn about Iquitos from your guide. Upon arrival, register at the cabin, take a short break, and use the facilities if needed. Leave your backpacks safely in the office. Before entering, receive a brief introduction, then follow a park ranger as you explore and learn about the wonders of the jungle. Along the trail, encounter a wide variety of trees and medicinal plants, such as the imposing Lupuna tree, different types of palm trees, edible mushrooms, and many more. During the walk, you may also come across monkeys, spiders, jungle pigs, colorful birds, and small frogs. Pause to enjoy a breakfast in the heart of nature, giving you energy for the journey ahead. After about three hours, finish the hike and leave the park. On the way back to the city, stop at a local roadside stand to taste exotic Amazonian fruits, a delicious reward after the hike. Finally, head to a scenic spot to rest and watch the sunset after the boat ride.
