Description

Swap the city streets of Lima for windswept deserts, sea lion colonies, and hidden underground tunnels on this unforgettable 3-day circuit. From cruising the Pacific to flying across golden sand dunes, this adventure blends Peru’s wild beauty with culture, cuisine, and adrenaline. Day 1: Lima - Chincha - Paracas Your journey kicks off with an early morning pickup from Lima. Settle into a spacious Peru Hop luxury bus and stay connected with high-speed onboard Wi-Fi (Only available through Peru Hop) as we head south. En route, we make a delicious breakfast stop at Mirasur, famous for piping-hot bread straight from traditional clay ovens - Peru’s tastiest road-trip snack! Then, step back in time at the magnificent Hacienda San José, a colonial-era estate rich in both beauty and complex history. Beneath its manicured gardens lies a haunting network of tunnels once used to smuggle enslaved Africans from the coast. This immersive visit shines a light on the birth of Afro-Peruvian culture and its enduring legacy. Arrive in the sunny coastal town of Paracas by early afternoon. The rest of your day is free to wander the beach promenade, enjoy fresh seafood, or simply relax by the ocean. Day 2: Paracas - Ballestas Islands - Viñedo - Huacachina Rise early for an epic boat tour to the Ballestas Islands, known as “Peru’s Little Galápagos.” Glide past colonies of sea lions, penguins, pelicans, and if you’re lucky - dolphins, all thriving in the rich marine ecosystem. Back on land, continue aboard your Peru Hop luxury bus and venture deep into the Paracas National Reserve, where desert cliffs plunge into the Pacific. Snap surreal photos of the red beach, and learn how this fragile biosphere shelters over 400 species. Next, you will depart from Paracas for the vineyard. See how Pisco, Peru’s national drink, is made from the grape to the bottle and try lots of free samples. You will have free time here to have lunch. After, drive to the jaw-dropping Huacachina Oasis, nestled among towering sand dunes. Strap in for a wild dune buggy ride and try your skills at sandboarding down steep golden slopes - pure adrenaline in the desert! Spend the night in Huacachina, surrounded by palm trees, starry skies, and desert calm. Day 3: Huacachina - Lima You will have the morning free in Huacachina to relax or explore Huacachina at your own pace. Take one last walk around the lagoon or grab lunch in a rooftop oasis café. Around 7 pm, board the bus back to Lima, wrapping up a rich journey of coastline, culture, and dunes.
