Description
Day 1: Arrival in Lima & City Tour
Upon arrival in Lima, a representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, explore the historic center, stopping at Huaca Pucllana, an ancient pre-Inca pyramid, before continuing to Plaza Mayor, surrounded by colonial landmarks such as the Cathedral of Lima and Government Palace. After the tour, return to your hotel.

Day 2: Paracas, Ica & Huacachina Adventure
Depart early toward Paracas, where a boat ride to the Ballestas Islands offers views of sea lions, penguins, and seabirds. Continue to Ica for a Pisco and wine tasting, followed by a traditional lunch. In the afternoon, travel to the Huacachina oasis, where you’ll experience buggy rides and sandboarding before returning to Lima.

Day 3: Arrival in Cusco & Acclimatization
Fly to Cusco (11,152 ft / 3,399 m), where a representative will transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is for acclimatization, allowing time to explore the cobbled streets of the historic center.

Day 4: Chinchero, Maras & Moray – Train to Aguas Calientes
Begin the day with a visit to Chinchero (12,500 ft / 3,800 m), where local artisans showcase traditional Andean weaving techniques. Continue to Moray (11,500 ft / 3,500 m), an Inca agricultural laboratory, and descend to the Maras Salt Mines (10,827 ft / 3,300 m), where thousands of salt pools reflect the sunlight. In the afternoon, board the train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes town (6,692 ft / 2,040 m). Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

Day 5: Machu Picchu – Return to Cusco
Take one of the morning buses to Machu Picchu (7,972 ft / 2,430 m), where your guide will lead a tour through the temples, terraces, and sacred spaces of this Inca citadel. If booked in advance, you may take an extra hike to Huayna Picchu (8,924 ft / 2,720 m) or Machu Picchu Mountain (10,111 ft / 3,082 m) for a panoramic view of the surrounding landscapes. In the afternoon, return to Cusco by train and then, by private transfer.

Day 6: Rainbow Mountain
Depart very early (4 to 5 AM) toward Rainbow Mountain (16,466 ft / 5,020 m), stopping for breakfast near Cusipata (11,811 ft / 3,600 m). Continue by van to the trailhead and start the two-hour hike through high-altitude landscapes. At the summit, admire the multicolored slopes and the imposing Ausangate Mountain (20,945 ft / 6,384 m), one of the Andes' most sacred peaks. After taking in the views, descend on foot along the same route. Back at the trailhead, board the van to the lunch stop before returning to Cusco.

Day 7: Departure from Cusco
At the scheduled time, transfer to Cusco Airport, marking the end of your journey through Peru’s most breathtaking landscapes.
