Description
We will begin by picking you up from your place of stay and heading toward the historic center of Lima. Our first stop will be the extraordinary Plaza San Martín, surrounded by stunning landmarks such as the iconic Gran Hotel Bolívar, the remarkable twin buildings, and the elegant Colón Theater.
Next, we’ll step back in time as we stroll along the renowned Jirón de la Unión, once the most aristocratic street in Lima, where the city’s elite would gather. We will then visit the majestic Plaza Mayor, bordered by some of the city’s most significant buildings: the Government Palace, the Cathedral, the Archbishop’s Palace, the City Hall, and the prestigious Union Club.
As we make our way to the Monastery of San Francisco de Asis, you will see the historic Library, formerly a railway station, as well as the traditional Bar Cordano. Finally, we will conclude with a highlight of the tour: the captivating underground Catacombs.
