Description

'Beyond the beaten path, we will guide you to an oasis of ancestral knowledge, where the beauty of the streets and the wisdom of yesteryear await you.' We meet at the starting point as travelers of the past and freedom in the Plaza de la Iglesia La Merced. Discover the authentic atmosphere of the city while exploring its historic center and the Rímac district. We will visit the Church of Our Lady of Mercy, the Old House of Eugenio Courret, Lima's Plaza de Armas, and the Wanka Stone, a tribute to the former Lima chieftain. We will stroll along the Chabuca Granda boardwalk to contemplate the Rímac River, the Old Post Office, and Lima City Hall. Depending on the time, you may also witness the Changing of the Guard ceremony. We will visit a secret location where many of Lima's treasures are located. Enjoy a free pisco tasting (optional) and admire the view of San Cristóbal Hill and Lima's neighborhoods. End your tour with a full appreciation for Lima's past and present.
