Start with early hotel pickup and relax during the scenic 4-hour drive to Paracas aboard a spacious Peru Hop luxury bus. Once in Paracas, board a speedboat to the Ballestas Islands, where you’ll cruise past the mysterious Candelabra geoglyph and observe a thriving ecosystem: Humboldt penguins, sea lions, dolphins, and countless seabirds in their natural habitat.

In the afternoon, hop back on your Peru Hop bus for a bus guided tour of the Paracas National Reserve, a surreal landscape of red beaches, rugged cliffs, and desert meeting the sea.
On your way back to Lima, make a final stop in Chincha for a guided visit to the Secret Slave Tunnels at Hacienda San José. Hidden beneath this colonial estate, the tunnels were used during Peru’s dark history of slavery. You’ll arrive back in Lima on the Peru Hop bus around 10:30 PM, with hotel drop-offs included in Miraflores, San Isidro, and Barranco. (Hoteles and hostels in Lima downtown or the airport, will be later)
