Description

Our tour begins in Miraflores, where we will take the public bus most used by Lima residents. We will cross the city by bus, seeing different districts and parts of the city, including the national stadium, before heading to the historic center of Lima. We will get off at Plaza San Martín, the starting point of our walk, to admire the architecture and colonial buildings that surround this emblematic square. From there, we will walk along Jirón de la Unión, enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of the city, until we reach the Plaza Mayor. At this point, we will learn about the history of the Cathedral of Lima, the Government Palace, and the Municipal Palace. We will continue to the Convent of Santo Domingo and end at the Church of San Francisco, where we will visit its famous catacombs. We recommend trying some of the local cuisine and enjoying the best churros in the city, filled with chocolate, pastry cream, or dulce de leche. We will continue our tour by visiting a pisco and wine cellar, where we will learn a little about how they are made and try a variety of drinks for free in a fun and interactive setting. Finally, we will return to Miraflores by bus, ending a tour full of history and culture. All this with the company of our expert guide.
